On October 11, 2025, in the sectional final, the Crown Point High School Boys Soccer Bulldogs clinched a decisive 5-1 victory over the Hobart High School Boys Soccer Brickies, earning their first sectional championship since 2017. The Bulldogs asserted control from the beginning, building a multi-goal lead by halftime and adding two more in the second half to seal the win. Senior Brayden Kurtz starred with two goals and several assists, freshman Liam Bazin added a pair of goals, and junior Nolan Babcock chipped in the fifth. On the defensive side, the crown remained firmly in place as the Bulldogs limited Hobart to just one goal while improving their season record to 11–5–3. With the sectional title in hand, Crown Point now advances to the regional semi-final where they will face Lake Central on Wednesday — stepping into a new level of postseason competition with momentum and confidence.
